[Some of the pics he was getting were definitely meant for someone. All nudes of varying stripes, most taken with a sly grin or a playful air even when the trickster's face wasn't visible. Ranging the gamut from mildly racy, where nudity was implied to the downright saucy where it was quite obvious. (And taken well in hand for that matter.)
Something about posture, and expression in the last two or three read as more tentative or uncertain than anything. Which might have to do with the fact that this particular montage was of the trickster in his Jotun form, all blue skin and glossy black markings almost like black ice, with back-swept horns to match. White hair instead of black, and stark red eyes instead of green, though the face shape definitely marked it as the same person from the previous pictures. And for as mild as these photos are compared to some of the racier sorts, there was something a bit more intimate. Maybe it was just because of the exploratory focus of each one. Hard to say from a complete stranger!]

It's like that space between being awake and dreaming. Kavinsky nearly falls out of the shower as he backs up, catching himself as he breaks Adam's gaze.
He stands there, breathing and trying to remember why he's in the shower when he looks up and see Ronan. He laughs and his gaze absolutely lingers, invasive and appreciative.
"You get it all cleaned off, princess? Sheets look like you murdered a fuckin squid."
A dreaming mishap, maybe. Whatever it was, Kavinsky is grinning and he backs off to grab a towel.
"You ready to try again or you tapped out?"
They'd done so much dreaming together. The apartment had been filled with weird shit when Ronan was here.

Ronan doesn't seem surprised by Kavinsky's presence, despite the invasion, but his eyes do narrow in unvoiced admonishment as he reaches out to swipe the towel from Kavinsky's hands. He wraps it securely around his waist before Kavinsky can get any more of an eyeful than he's already stolen.
"It's fucking useless," he mutters, shoving past Kavinsky to stalk out of the bathroom. "I'm just gonna pass out for real."
In Kavinsky's room, apparently, since his own is squid-inked. Ronan throws himself onto the bed, though he keeps the towel wrapped around him, and rolls over to face the far wall.

Being a sub hasn't been easy for Derek. Following orders, doing as he's told, being on his best behaviour - he's had slip-up after slip-up, and though he's had help working through his citations and kept himself in good standing, there are one or two SIN guards in the up who have started to recognize him as someone in constant need of reprimanding. A problem to keep an eye on. The threat of rehabilitation has been hanging over his head for a while now, and Derek hasn't done enough damage to stare down that particular barrel - but he doesn't apologize to the guard he bumps shoulders with on his way into the Up, and with how much he's been pissing off that guard in question, it's more than enough to send him straight to the Remittance Facility. Time to pay your debts, the guard said.
The blizzard hits while Derek's in the Down, thrown into a cell and caged like a dog, and for three days, nobody knows where he is. They took his phone - he spends his time being imprisoned and watched and surveyed like a piece of meat, snarling at the assholes who show a vague interest in "buying" him and "helping him clear his debts", incapable of reaching out to someone he trusts to ask them, however reluctantly, for help. It's not until Kavinsky - fucking Kavinsky - finds him, that Derek really starts to feel anxious about being here. He could have gotten through this wave if he'd been bought by anyone else, but fuck. Why'd it have to be him?
The purchase happens swiftly enough, with Derek temporarily being placed in Kavinsky's care after he pays off whatever minor, technical fine they put in Derek's name, and now, for an agonizingly long forty eight hours, Derek legally belongs to him. He says nothing as Kavinsky escorts him back to his place in the Down, stewing in his anger but offering none of it. Once the front door shuts behind them and the two of them are standing alone in Kavinsky's living room, Derek tries to take a stab at asserting dominance - if he can be sure that Kavinsky won't report him for misbehaving, then Derek can probably just leave without so much as a thank you. There's nothing technically keeping him here, if Kavinsky decides to let him go.
"So, this was fun," he says, eyebrows up. "But I've got places to be. I'm gonna head out."

Finding Derek in the fucking Zoo feels like winning some kind of lottery. Derek may have been able to scare off everyone else, but K buys his debt without hesitation. Even after the storm, it's fucking freezing and Kavinsky doesn't waste time getting them to his place.
"You walk out on this, your ass goes right back into the Zoo," he warns. "You keep your old fines and rack up a few more."
Hey, might as well warn Derek what he's up against.
"And the elevators aren't working."
That probably doesn't mean quite as much to Derek, unless he's got places to stay in the Up. Illegal places, if he's not under contract. Kavinsky wonders if shit like that landed the wolf in trouble or if it was just his charming personality. Kavinsky shrugs out of his coat and tosses it onto the couch, deliberate, before he looks at Derek again.

Reggie's party winds down just before daybreak, and Derek would have left hours ago, if he hadn't found the right reasons to stay. He was just there to hand over a gift and bail after making his fair share of smalltalk, but that's not how things worked out - he and Reggie ended up in the woods, as they tend to do, and then there was Noah, and then there were a couple of other people... Derek didn't exactly blend into the crowd, but he didn't get away until things are winding down right before dawn.
Kavinsky's scent was on anything. Not literally, maybe - between the drinks and the bonfire and the food and the dozens of people sweating and fucking and whatever else it was they got up to, Derek wouldn't have been able to zero that out - but people were drunk, people were high, people who couldn't be either of those things, and Derek knew who to blame for that. Part of why he stuck around for so long was to just - make sure that people stayed safe. He's still not over what happened to Tate a year ago, even though he feels, sometimes, like he's the only person who remembers.
He's not surprised to see Kavinsky on the way back from Reggie's party, walking through the streets and just so happening to be nearby, given everything. He's surprised by himself when he walks after him, though, dimly lit by a slowly rising sun from behind, Derek's clothes and hair a mess and the smell of sex still on him. The sidewalk is empty and there's nobody else in sight, and maybe that's why Derek walks up to him, shoving him from behind to get his attention. It's not antagonistic - but it's not exactly nice, either. Unsurprisingly.
